Looking on EveryMac in their 'Lookup' section, the model number above shows MacBooks introduced from 2006 to 2009 (check the link and tell us the specific one) thus, you have an 'old' laptop and the battery, as already suggested, may be the problem (unless replaced) also, I would suspect the computer to work w/ a proper charger attached, so a couple of issues.įrom your last statement above, i.e.
